Valentine’s Day is fast approaching! It is a beautiful day to show and share your love. Sprinkle that stuff around everywhere I say!

If your other half is totally clueless when it comes to buying gifts, I’ve come up with a full proof way to get what you want. Just print this out, circle the ones you want, just like you used to do to the toy catalogue for Santa, and leave it laying around for hubby/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend to find. I leave my lists on the fridge, lets face it, every one eats! I’ve left buying details and prices, It couldn’t be easier!

How about something for the home to remember your love all year long? I am completely in awe of Lovestar vases and have a few around my home. This one is such a pretty colour! Pinkies Up!

Do you drink tea or coffee? Both? None? I recently gave up coffee and while it was sad to say goodbye, I made friends with tea, and I’m not looking back.

You see, one of the best things about drinking tea has to be the amazing range of gorgeous tea cups, ranging from petite and pretty, to huge bucket like creations that could double as a soup bowl.

Here are a couple from my personal collection. The beautiful blue butterfly set was a gift from a gorgeous friend, it is from T2. The other I have had for years and it is from Cath Kidston, I adore the bright floral print.

First of all, I want to send out a massive thank-you to each and every one of you who popped on to my blog in the last 24 hours and have subscribed. I am overwhelmed at the amount of supportive and encouraging messages I have received from everybody. I also want to give a big shout out to my gorgeous friend Kirsten from the www.kirstenandco.com blog who has helped me get this set up and active. Oh my, I am such a tech dinosaur, this stuff really hurt my brain! And lastly to all of you who have sent messages saying you are thinking of doing your own blogs, just do it, If I can, trust me, You can!

Right then, Let’s do this! I thought since my #mumlittleloves hashtag from Instagram is what brought me here today I would share some of my favourite little businesses I have found so far.

First up is these amazing hand painted, hand sanded and hand finished, hanging wall charms from LeJasp. They are all original artwork by Leah Spain, the artist behind LeJasp. The colours are amazing and she can customise one to suit your style. They are stamped on the back for authenticity and come to you in a calico drawstring bag. Next, If your a sea lover like me, and the sight of rusty anchors, old glass fishing floats and dirty textured rope gets you excited, then you’ll love Coastal Vintage! Sally has based her little business on the Sunshine Coast in QLD, a perfect spot to uncover treasures that have been tucked away in old sailors sheds for years. Last for today, is these completely adorable whales by www.palmbeachblack.com They are hand made from 100% cotton denim and a corn fibre filling which is 100% biodegradable & compostable, naturally hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial. I do have a things for whales, and I would love this gorgeous girl sitting atop my bed!

Is there anybody out there?

Hi There? Welcome to Mum Little Loves! I’m tickled pink you stopped by!

I confess, I know absolutely nothing about blogging, so I did what any tech savvy girl does and googled – ‘my first blog post’. Apparently, I’m meant to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about myself. Here goes – I’m Hayley, a 30+ (ok, pushing 40) mum of three kids – 2 tween girls and a toddler boy. I love renovating houses, which is lucky because I’m married to a builder. I am passionate about interior decorating, bargain hunting, photo taking, baking (not to be confused with cooking), cocktail sipping, travelling and supporting small businesses.

But you really want to know what I’ll be sharing here, am I right? I’ll share my life, my home, my style, my shopping finds and anything else you think I need to know about. My pictures will frequently contain blue and white, pops of pink, fresh flowers, and absolutely fabulous things. Here’s a few pics of my home to give you a taste.

So, Why am I blogging? I have been sharing gorgeous things I’ve discovered from little and local businesses on Instagram under the hashtag #mumlittleloves and I have had such a fabulous response. I am constantly getting asked for more pictures and more details. Rather than jam up everyones Instagram feed, here I am! I’ll be showing you some fabulous products in the near future, so keep a look out!
